Curiously finished ...

So THIS is what I was working towards: (click on image for larger view)

Still need to print them out on quality paper for assessment, but otherwise done ... thank goodness! You can see how the project evolved by clicking on the 'Curious Incident' tag at the bottom...

So that's another one down ... Most of the others are kind of coming together ... only a couple more days to go - hand-ins on Wednesday!

(Thank you Sunshine, my very bored model and photography assistant. In the top photo you can see my right hand, but my left hand is out of shot taking the photo via the remote trigger!)

EDIT: Thank you SYAR for being a great proofreader - typo fixed now in original. Also, several people have asked and the answer is ,
No you can't actually play the game - I'm not a game designer. It was for aesthetic purposes only. I'd had a conversation with my tutor about this and we both agreed that it wasn't my job to make something playable!

These look great! I love the fonts you used and the colours are so vivid.

Is it an actual playable game? I am very curious to how one would play it if so.

Oh and just a note, I noticed that in the second picture, it was spelt 'therefor'. Not sure if that's poetic license taken from the book itself or a typo, but thought I'd mention it.

Do you send in these photos along with the actual game and cards and tokens?

Yeah, making it playable would be a whole other project wouldn't it? I remember having to make a mathematics based game in my add maths class. It was hard and the ultimate outcome was pretty lame. (and it wasn't even pretty, like yours!) Everyone ended up having the same type of game. Although board game designer sounds like a cool job. :)
